The guiding star of the package is Nicolaus Copernicus, the Polish astronomer. Itinerary: Warszawa – Łomża – Olsztyn – Elbląg – Frombork – Krynica Morska – Gdańsk – Gdynia – Sopot – Kartuzy – Kościerzyna – Toruń – Ciechocinek – Włocławek – Warszawa

Day 1 Warsaw: transfer from the airport to Łomża. Sightseeing in the Old Town. Kurpian feast.

Day 2 Sightseeing in Olsztyn: the Castle of the Warmińska Chapter. Planetarium. Optional evening visit to the observatory.

Day 3 Boat trip along the Elbląg Canal to Elbląg (2.5 hrs.). Sightseeing in the Old Town: St. Nicholas’ Cathedral, St. Mary’s Church

Day 4 Sightseeing in Frombork. It was here that Nicolaus Copernicus was raised, lived and completed his “De revolutionibus…”. The Copernicus Museum, the Planetarium and the Museum of Medical History.

Day 5 The lighthouse in Krynica Morska. Piratical Baptism Night, with music and the food of the coastal region. Day 6 Travel to Toruń: Old Town, Copernicus’ House, the Town Hall, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist, the Living Gingerbread Museum – demonstration of gingerbread-making and a chance to sample the gingerbread.

Day 7 Planetarium – a talk on astronomy, show – The Night Sky Over Toruń. Travel to Warsaw.

Day 8 Transfer to Warsaw airport.
