Come, take a walk with us along a unique historical route – the Royal Way in Gdańsk, Europe’s most beautiful Old Town, with its captivating Town Hall, Neptune’s Fountain and unique, centuries-old apartment buildings. Our stroll takes us along Długie Pobrzeże – the riverside quay, past the one and only Żuraw, a medieval crane, into ulica Mariacka and on to the Kościół Mariacki – the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the largest brick built church in Europe. We will visit the Amber Museum and see a demonstration of the craft of polishing amber, the treasure of the Baltic Sea. Then on to the Gdańsk Shipyard, cradle of the Solidarity Trade Union movement. Our exploration of Gdańsk also takes us to Westerplatte, where World War II began. A visit to Oliwa Cathedral and its extraordinary Baroque organ will fortify our artistic senses.

 Next comes Sopot, the largest health resort on Poland’s coast, with its Krzywy Dom, a building almost surreal in its crookedness, its elegant main pedestrian street, ulica Monte Casino, and its 511.5 metre-long, wooden pier. And thus onward!

To Gdynia, where the main attractions are the historical sailing ships and vessels moored by the shore and the long, sweeping boulevard of Kościuszki Square.
