Day 1:
Arrival in Gdańsk. The Old Town of this thousand -year-old city by the sea abounds with shops displaying the artistic wares made of amber that comes from the Baltic. Gdańsk was a powerful member of the Hanseatic League and the city’s history is inextricably linked with world history. In 1939, the cannonade on Westerplatte signaled the outbreak of World War II, while the emergence, in 1980, of the Solidarity Trade Union at Lenin’s Shipyard marked the beginning of the end for communism in Central and Eastern
Europe.

Day 2:
A tour of the city will allow you to discover the historical Old Town and a visit to Oliwa Cathedral offers you the opportunity of listening to a concert given on the Baroque organ. The afternoon brings a trip to the adjacent seaside health resort of Sopot and the maritime city of Gdynia.

Day 3:
Time for individual sightseeing or taking one of our optional excursions: Malbork and Europe’s largest medieval castle; the Kashubian Lakeland; the Słowinski National Park with the biggest Shifting Dunes in Europe; or a trip to Frombork including the visit to Nicolaus Copernicus Museum.
