The Bike Route in the Slovincian National Park
We recommend a bike route in the Slovincian National Park
[Słowiński Park Narodowy] around the Łebsko Lake
. Beautiful landscapes of seaside moving dunes, at the bottom of which a part of the route runs, charms of the open-air ethnographic museum in Kluki and numerous attractions are to be a reward for the effort of finishing the route. The route in its basic version is 55.7 km
long and the extended version is 59.5 km
long. The route should be covered with a mountain bike and it is designed for the most persistent ones because it is characterized by a high level of difficulty.
The route:
Łeba - Moving Dunes - Kluki (with the Museum of the Slovincian Village) – Izbica – Łeba.
Łeba - Moving Dunes - Kluki (with the Museum of the Slovincian Village) – Izbica – Łeba.
In the Slovincian National Park, apart for the moving dunes, it is worth to stop and see ruins of St. Nicholas Church from the 14th century as well as a viewing tower by the Łebsko Lake. From the tower tourists may to admire the enormous lake (7,138 ha) surrounded by swamps and peat bogs with the nearby forests and dunes. Ferry cruises, also to Łeba, are a huge attraction. The ferries can be boarded with bikes.
